Do-Metals B.V. is a Dutch company specializing in metal purchasing and sales, working with large volumes of raw materials for business clients. We’ve been collaborating with the client for a long time, continuously developing their digital ecosystem. Previously, we created the corporate website and supported the entire IT infrastructure. The next step was a mobile app. The business needed a tool for managing the metal catalog, updating prices in real time, handling custom conditions for regular clients, and sending notifications about changes. This project became a complete redesign of the first version of the app, with reworked logic and new functionality built around real user feedback.

The next step was a mobile app. The business needed a tool for managing the metal catalog, updating prices in real time, handling custom conditions for regular clients, and sending notifications about changes. This project became a complete redesign of the first version of the app, with reworked logic and new functionality built around real user feedback.
The product is primarily used by business owners, contractors, auto repair shops, construction companies, and private metal suppliers, people who rely on speed, accuracy, and up to date information. We redesigned the catalog structure, simplified navigation, and made the interface cleaner and easier to use. At the same time, the development team built a custom API that became the foundation of the entire system. Metals and pricing can now be updated directly inside the app, while the website automatically syncs and displays the same data without any manual setup. We also introduced personalized accounts with custom pricing for specific clients, along with a flexible push notification system. The project took around two months to complete and was developed simultaneously for iOS and Android by a team consisting of a designer, lead designer, and two full stack developers.

Most of the complex technical improvements stay behind the scenes, but they’re exactly what make the platform stable, scalable, and ready for future growth. For us, this project became a great example of how long term collaboration leads to products that evolve alongside the business and continue supporting its growth over time.
As a result, Do-Metals received more than just an updated interface. The app became a complete system for managing pricing, clients, and communication in one place. Users noticed the difference immediately. The app feels faster, cleaner, and far more intuitive, with key actions requiring fewer steps and less effort. Most of the complex technical improvements stay behind the scenes, but they’re exactly what make the platform stable, scalable, and ready for future growth.
