Do-Flex B.V. is a company specializing in certified heavy equipment operators and rigging personnel for lifting, transport, and industrial operations. The company works with large industrial clients and manages field employees operating across multiple job sites and logistics environments. We have been collaborating with the client since 2018, continuously developing and expanding their internal digital ecosystem. Over the years, the platform evolved alongside the business, adapting to new operational requirements, employee workflows, and management processes. The latest stage of the project focused on a major update of the previously developed mobile application and administrator web platform. The goal was to improve the overall user experience, speed up daily workflows, modernize the interface, and introduce new functionality based directly on feedback from employees actively using the system in the field. The business required a more efficient way to manage personnel, assign tasks, track working hours, approve timesheets, and centralize employee related documentation while reducing manual administrative work and simplifying communication between workers, managers, and clients.

We redesigned and expanded the mobile application for both iOS and Android, while simultaneously rebuilding the entire administrator web interface from scratch. The updated system introduced cleaner navigation, faster interactions, and a more structured experience across all devices. The new functionality included employee task management, working hour tracking, digital timesheets, approval workflows, photo reporting, employee document management, invoice generation, notification systems, role based permissions, and real time employee tracking integrated with Google Maps APIs. One of the core improvements was the approval flow for completed work, allowing employees to log their hours directly from the job site, attach photo reports, and send timesheets to clients for digital signature approval. Managers can now monitor employee activity, track movement history, review reports, manage permissions, and oversee operations from a fully centralized system. The project was completed within approximately one month by a team consisting of two full stack developers, one designer, and one project manager. The process included UX research, interface redesign, wireframes, workflow optimization, and iterative testing based on real employee feedback.
